Meet the Author

Duane A. Martin is a first-generation college graduate, former military officer, and attorney dedicated to public service and advocating for public schools.

His passion for justice, leadership, and the people behind the law inspired his debut novel, Closed Sessions, a story that has lived in his imagination for years and that he is thrilled to finally share with readers.

When he's not working, Duane is often outdoors: kayaking ultramarathons, hunting big game, or hiking wherever the trail leads. He and his family call Missouri home.
